No Kiddin’ – This is some of the best Fishing in the country! We have one of the best Triple Tail seasons I have ever seen underway right now. Triple Tail-also known as Black Fish- is some of the best eating fish to be found anywhere and have been on fire for quite a while on many of the close in rigs on both sides of the river. Bring some stout tackle for these fish as they are real fighters. Many catches are from 10lbs to 15 lbs and put on quite a performance. Trout fishing has been in a transition period and will be much easier to find by the first of October if not sooner. Redfish limits are being taken by most of the guides as seen at the fish cleaning tables at any of the marinas.

We have finally completed construction of our New Cypress Cabins!   And more than doubled the number of cabins since before Katrina so we can usually accommodate you -even last minute Weekend Trips! 

All these units have a fully equipped Full Size Kitchen with all flatware and utensils for cooking. All finished in lacquered Cypress tongue and groove walls. There are 2 Bedrooms with 6 Beds and Private ceramic tile bathroom. The Living room has a flat screen 32” LCD HDTV with Direct TV HBO Showtime ESPN etc with a Comfortable Lazy Boy Recliner, Fold out Futon Sleeper and a Hunter Ceiling Fan. No smoking inside but you can use your private porch with ceiling fans. The Covered Pavilions with BBQ grills and tables are available any time you need them just bring charcoal and your favorite beverages. Other amenities include the Fish Cleaning Area, Laundry Room for guests only, Pier on Yellow Cotton Bay, plenty of power and parking for your boat, Bag Ice, WI-FI Internet and Manager on Site.  

Seems like all we have been doing since Katrina is construction work- it is time to get back to Fishing!

It is going to be a great 2009 Fall Fishin’ season!
